Abu Khashaba Canyon

 is one of the beautiful desert valleys located in Wadi Rum. The canyon is known for its narrow sandy path and peaceful desert scenery surrounded by sandstone mountains.

During many Wadi Rum jeep tours, visitors stop at Abu Khashaba Canyon in the middle of the tour to enjoy a short walk through the valley.

Guests start walking from the first entrance of the canyon while the guide continues driving around the mountain to meet them on the other side. The walk usually takes around 20–25 minutes and is an easy and enjoyable desert hike.

Because the canyon becomes narrow in some parts, vehicles cannot pass through the entire valley. Visitors simply walk straight through the canyon while the jeep meets them again at the second valley.

At the end of the canyon, travelers meet their guide where the jeep is waiting. This area offers a beautiful open desert view with soft red sand dunes and impressive sandstone mountains.

Many visitors also enjoy sandboarding on the dunes at the end of the canyon, which adds a fun desert adventure to the experience.
